can someone tell me how to reinstall firmware of samsung mobile phone? what file do i need and where do i get it?

i have a similar request sir my phone is actging weird when i try to start it up it goes normal..but when i try to turn it off it wont turn off..so for me to tunr it off i need to pull out the battery to turn it off.pls help me on how to update my phones firmware thank you
